I want to share a sad and sordid tale with you. Years ago I met this five foot nine inch blonde.
I fell head of heels for her freckles, small scar on her forehead, and crooked teethe. While she wasn't conventionally beautiful, she turned me on.
But that's not all. We had a strong connection. Almost from the moment we met, we kept talking about our passions and life aspiration. On our second date she told me that she wanted four children - two boys and two girls. Her dream was to raise them in Alaska. This brought a tear to my eye because ever since I was little kid I dreamt of raising two boys and two girls in Alaska.
No ifs, ands, or buts about it, this girl was my other half.
After five years together, I knew she was the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
So I asked my mother to help me pick out an engagement for her. I found one way beyond my financial means, so I used my credit card to pay for it. The day I planned to ask for her hand in marriage, I came home from work and found a note.
It said:
My dearest, dearest David,
I think you're a wonderful man. But I feel the passion has left our relationship. I wish you the best in life and I'm sure there's some woman out there for you.
I was shocked and dumbfounded. I thought our relationship was going well.
For six months, I sent her letters every single day begging for her back. She didn't respond to even one of them. This hurled me into a very deep depression.
So I started buying her expensive jewelry. Likewise, this got no response from her.
So I contacted her parents. Their response was unanimous: she doesn't want to have anything to do with you.
Several years went by and connected with another amazing girl. The exact moment she faded from my mind, she I received a letter from her asking for me to go back to her - what a bitter sweet irony.
Has a wonderful woman ever left you? You probably went out of your way to get her back. Alas, everything you did to get her back made her want to avoid you like the plague.
If you want to get that amazing woman back, you've got to forget about her and move on.
